Just got a new CNC router, making a quick plaque for a neighbors wedding. The numbers on the left is the date, the numbers on the right is the latitude/longitude of where the ceremony is.

They are big fans of concerts and music, and frequently host aspiring musicians to play small jam sessions in their back yard.

I was deciding what color to make the ticket, looking at my cabinet of paints and stains. Red? Blue? Green? Gold? Golden ticket? Shazam.

Finished the bow and stern while my daughter made a rope ladder with thread which was more difficult than expected. Also completed the meats and rigging. Now got to somehow paint this sucker.

I wanted to use spray paint but this being foam and most spray paints having acetone, that won't work. I'll prolly just brush it out.

Current projects; stairway make from a Pringles can, and the ship my party will be using for a while. Pins are to get the bend just right until the glue sets.

Hi folks! Experienced Dad/DM/player here looking for a group, my current group is taking an extended break.

Looking for a reliable and regular group for Sundays, preferably weekly so I can make it a regular thing. I'm flexible with rule sets but prefer RAW/RAI. My 14yo also plays but I would want to check group dynamics first.

I've been DMing for our group for the past two years, with some of our players taking turns with 1-shot DMing. I use Roll20 with a projector over my game table for virtual maps. I also make 3D terrain and dungeons for some of the encounters, and have a bunch of hand-made tiles for recurring dungeons.

I have 2 years worth of hot-checked homebrew adventures, and another 1 year of new homebrew adventures set in the Sword Coast.

Weekends are best.

Give me a shout!

Dragon Tomes ASSEEMMMBBBLLLLEE!!!

I'm putting together a Tome of Dragons for my home game. An actual physical thing with pages, fold-outs, drawings, secret writings, etc. It includes bone drawings, skeletal analysys, certain glyphs that work with dragons, notes, anatomical drawings, observations, writings in different languages, and more. Something like a researchers book of his lifes work. I distress the pages to look worn, used, and ripped using typical materials like coffee water, wax, burning, and dirt.

I've reached a knot in my creative cord and need your help. This is your opportunity to put a little bit of yourself into this tome and the campaign!

I want your pages! I ask that you make a page. One 8"x10" page of what could be in a tome like this. It can have any assortment of drawings, writings, notes, or pictures. It can be organized or jumbled and crazy. It can be several images together. It can have any topic; study, defense, how to kill, glyphs for communication, anything you can think of! Your page will be added to the tome.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Create it digitally using whatever program you like. Leave the background white or transparent.
2. Save it as a picture (jpg, gif, png, etc) to a Google drive of your choice.
3. Enable sharing on your file.
4. Copy and paste the link here.

I'll grab it, print on my special paper, distress it, and add it as a page in the tome!

After the party killed the Spirit Naga Boss, they found a simple picture frame with a white blank surface. After an Identify they discovered it was a Magic Mirror that could answer questions.

The picture is an animated floating mask with animated fire. Using my keyboard I can make the head shake up/down/left/right to indicate yes/no answers. The mouth can also move to follow speech.

The party flipped once they realized what it was and started peppering it with questions. The Bard even asked if her birth parents were still alive. It's magic is strong though, and staring into the mirror for too long (save vs WIS) results in a glazed stupor unless the mirror is covered.

The software is called MirrorMirror, available online, this full version costs $15 and includes many mask types, colors, and controls. I run it on my laptop connected to the projector above the table, onto the strategically placed frame.

A few weeks ago I posted an exciting part of our game that changed my happy and confident Paladin into an Oathbreaker. Now I'm playing as angry and conflicted.

I plan on playing it as Lawful Neutral, in an anti-religion way, forcing others to validate what they believe in and prove it helps them.

I'm also very aware that playing this way may bring stress to the table, and I definately don't want to be "that guy" that ruins the game for everyone. I'm hoping they respond to the RP with more RP, trying to get back the Brave Little Boaster.

Any tips?
