Does anyboyd know why is the containing div not exact height like image in it? Containder div has black background color (#111) and you can clearly see it bellow the picture. Here are the css rules:

width: 410px;
margin: 0 5px 0 5px;
background-color: #111;
text-align: center;
overflow: hidden;
max-height: 260px;

Image class has no rules. No padding, no margins! Help!

+Thomas Giles Yes, that helps too, but display: block on img element solved it.

Can somebody answer me how to solve this problem:
How do I update certain rows, BUT then insert same amount of rows with similar values. It's a subscriptions table that points to users and groups table. I would update certain subscriptions with ending timestamp (to declare it's ended -- I can't just delete the relation, I need it), then insert same amount of updated rows in the same relations table pointing to a different group but same userid's. I would've browsed the Postgresql documentation but I don't even know what to search for.

I found this on Postgresql documentation:
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/static/sql-insert.html
The last example WITH upd AS ( ...
It seems that's what I need.

OK, postgresql roles and psql login keeps confusing me. I have the default postgres (superuser) role. But this role has all the privileges and I want another role that has only CREATEDB permission. That role will just INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE. I also want that new role to be limited to just a database I create with it.

Now I'm on Fedora 18 XFCE. If someone could guide me through it I would be grateful. Starting with the terminal. :)

NOTE: I can login as postgres role and create another role but I'm never able to successfully connect to it. I want to connect to postgresql also from php script. Everything is installed and php 'sees' postgresql.

Ok, tried it and had a problem but a quick google did the trick. SELinux was denying the connection so just for the sake of reporting:
'/usr/sbin/setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect_db 1' typing as root did the trick. :D

Hi ppl! I have a smoothing problem that I don't know how to solve. I've included a picture. Obviously, shadows and light in a smoothed version are strange. Is there a way to solve this?

If I'm making a one page (php as a server-side) + JSON do I need to use php sessions? How does one manage "states" in a page that relies heavily on JSON. Do you know some tutorials online cause I'm having trouble finding them. Plus, I even found some people who think on a json website you don't need to use php's session variables but manage sessions otherwise.
P.S. Visitor must have Javascript turned on or the site won't work. No graceful degradation! :D

+Xavier Geerinck Since I'm trying to build a small local social site I doubt I'll need OAuth + wikipedia quotes issues with security. For my level I think OAuth is too complicated.

Getting excited to release my first add-on for Blender, called AutoMaps! It's an image map manager that will load in sets up images that are related (Diffuse, Gloss, Ref, Normal, etc) and keep them bundled in a group node. You can then refresh them as a group or reload a new group of images into the node. Fun times!!

This question might be in wrong community but it's related to postgresql too so here it goes:
I'm trying to insert data into postgresql from php. I need the integer (serial) value (primary key) for last inserted row in certain table so that I can reference it. Any idea or should I post it to some PHP community..? :)

+Arnes Arnautović The currval function is session safe. As long as you don't close the connection between queries, you'll get the correct answer.

Hi PostgreSQL community! What is the default password for postgres user? I'm asked when I enter this into terminal:
su - postgres -c /usr/pgsql-9.2/bin/initdb
I'm on Fedora 18 64bit distro, btw.

Better yet - DON'T define one. Use sudo. Give rights to a specific user or group of users (normally "dba") to "sudo su - postgres".
