We arrived around 1 pm Friday Jan 2 and the crowd was moderate. We were seated very quickly and drink/food order taken quickly, then it went downhill from, there. We ordered a 'beer sampler' that arrived at the same time as our food instead of as an " appetizer" like we wanted. We had to get up and ask for napkins and silverware, couldn't enjoy or lukewarm food without it !!! NEVER was offered water refills but the check was delivered in a very timely manner. My husband and I wanted to take a break from all of the Holiday craziness and just enjoy a delicious and fun meal together and we usually can count on BJ's for great food AND great service. I am glad this was not my very 1 st visit at BJ's because I likely would not return if it were. I was going to complain to the manager on the way out but another party had already gotten to her and was giving her an earful (experience much like ours but worse and I am quite certain we had the same server) and the manager just kind of walked away without having anything to offer. She literally walked away so I didn't even have an opportunity to whine if I wanted to !!!! According to the 1st complainant, they had a terrible experience around Thanksgiving as well and she spoke with the same female manager who had basically the same reaction both times !! Just sayin !!! I will give it another try but if the experience is negative again I guess I sadly will have to find another "go to" place !! HOPEFULLY some upper management will see some of these negative comments and make some changes. We have way too many choices to put up with poor service from such a good restaurant !!

We thought we'd try a new place for dinner for a friend's birthday. BJ's provided us a nice atmosphere and good beer. Food was good, not anything to write home about. Their beer was he best part of the meal!

BJ's is a fantastic place to hang out with your friends, have some great drinks, and good food. It's always pretty busy, but they do offer a call ahead service. Just call before you leave your house, get your name on the list, and you will be seated shortly after you arrive. They also have a great rewards program. You get special offers via email and you earn points for free stuff every time you dine. They have over 50 handcrafted beers to choose from as well as a full bar. They have an extensive menu with good sized portions. If you have room for dessert, definitely try a Pizookie. It's a cookie in a deep dish pizza pan served hot with a big scoop of ice cream on top. It comes in a wide variety of sinfully delicious combinations. You will Leave BJ's full and happy.

Love the pizzas here! The beer they brew is just ok, but they do have a pretty good drink selection.

Absolute terrible service. I eat at BJ's often in Dallas but had a terrible experience at this location. Server was not good. Food took forever and then was luke warm at best. Never saw a floor manager checking up on us. After paying, took up the experience with the manager and he completely blew us off. Will not return to this location again!

It's sad that I have to write a bad review after being very happy with another experience about a year ago at this location. My fiance and I came to eat dinner on Veteran's Day. The deal for veterans was any entree under $9.95 is free. The waitress was fully aware that we were there for Veterans Day and we had already showed her our VA card. We proceeded to order a chicken entree that was a lunch portion for $9.50. The dinner portion was 12.50 which we were unaware of but the waitress didn't mention anything to us even though she knew we were there for the veteran's meal. We received our bill after some extremely slow service (at the bar, which should normally be quicker than table service) and nothing had been taken off for the Veteran's deal. We told the waitress who brought it to her manager, brought it back and simply said "My manager fixed it." No explanation like a waiter normally would and I could tell we wouldn't be happy. He had taken off $6.50. I asked to speak to the manager and I told him I felt that it wasn't right to only take off $6.50. I mean c'mon, IT'S VETERANS DAY! He started telling us that since we ended up getting more food from a dinner portion, he thought he was doing us a favor! HA! I continued to explain to him we meant to order the lunch portion and if not I'm willing to pay the remainder after taking off $9.50. I have NEVER in my life dealt with such a passive aggressive, rude manager at a restaurant. He even insisted that in order to get the veteran's deal, he will have to take our food (which was already packed in a to go box) and remake the lunch portion. So we said, okay fine put the order in. He obviously didn't want to do that. He was just expecting us to walk away from the situation so he finally said okay I'll just take the Pizookie off your order which ended up equating to about $9 off which is all I was asking for initially. Why couldn't he just do that in the first place instead of haggling with us and being a passive aggressive jerk!!! We had ordered cocktails too so it wasn't like we were only there for the free meal and we go to BJ's VERY OFTEN!!! I called corporate to complain about him. They were very apologetic and offered me a gift card which was nice. The customer care lady said that in that situation, the manager should've just taken it off and didn't understand why he didn't just do that. Also, by the looks of a couple reviews on their Facebook, I'm not the only frequent customer who has been unsatisfied and felt like the manager didn't want to do anything to compensate when they should.

We had a large group that I called over a week in advance for (about 15 people). I informed the restaurant that we would all be having separate checks, and if there was a quiet room available, we would like that. We didn't get a private room, however, the food was good, and the service good. My one beef is that the manager didn't communicate to our server that we needed separate checks, and the server didn't look to happy about it, nor was he prepared, and our checks took longer than expected to take care of. Also, when I called the day before to confirm our headcount, the person who answered the phone seemed a little confused, and said a manager would call me back, but they never did. So, great place for a bite to eat, but maybe not for a large group, even if you call ahead.
