Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and a good dinner/breakfast at the hotel. Two reasons it's not 5 stars: 1- The internet is EXTREMELY slow, like 56k dial up. Of course, you have to pay $10 to get this speed. It's advertised as 2mbps speed, but falls WAY short. 2- The HDTVs are very outdated and can't accept aux inputs, even though the ports on the desk suggest you could. All of the ports are covered up in back, so you can't hook up to the TV if you take your shows on the road like I do.

My wife and I stayed in the "Presidential Suite" 21-22 March 2014 on a gift certificate. If I had paid for the experience, I'd be calling the Marriott president. Good: Comfortable, king sized bed; good breakfast buffet; lots of towels; clean. Bad: (1) The in-room "Jacuzzi" had no water spigot. The water poured out of a jagged hole in the tub where the spigot had been. When we filled the tub, there was a brown scum residue floating in the water. The plating on the jets is worn off. This shows lack of care on the housekeeping/maintenance managers. (2) To be charged for internet service in the presidential suite - or anywhere else in a hotel of this size - is chintzy at best. (3) No complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby. (4) The suite had a cheap, one-cup-at-a-time, in-room coffee brewer at the wet bar area. Paper cups. The wet bar was adjacent to a large meeting/dining table table. Seating for six plus people but one-at-a-time beverages for two??? Lots of empty storage space....no extra glasses...no trash receptacle. The piece of material on the table literally fell apart in our hands. (5) Expansive view of the Planned Parenthood clinic on one side and Home Depot on the other. In general, the hotel presented a Sadam's palace quality. Lots of shiny brass plate and marble but low quality and little attention to detail. Nickle and dime charges for amenities included at other establishments. As I said at the beginning, if I had paid for the room, I'd be talking to Marriott management.

was here for a nationinal speech tournament. Really comfortable rooms with balconies in most of them. Super friendly and helpful staff. Only drawbacks were slow internet speech and the fact that one has to pay extra to have a fridge/microwave installed in the room.

This is my favorite place to stay while in Denver on business or pleasure. The staff is excellent, the food is good and the environment is elegant. Very nice property.

I stayed at this Renaissance for a conference with an organization I am involved with. To start, I was greeted by friendly staff, my room was clean, with a wonderful view of the Mountains. The service was extraordinary, though I do wish a few of the waiters in the lounge were more attentive and the lounge bar would have been open longer but other than that I loved this hotel. After I checked out, I had forgotten I left some ties in my room, later in the evening after I checked out. I went back and asked if there was a chance they were found, they were and waiting for me. I was elated and so happy that they did not disappear!
