Was saving this for fall but I can't wait.

Nothing says "Pacific Northwest" more than the extremely delectable Pacific Golden Chanterelle. A thing of beauty in the woods, and of even more beauty to the palate at the dining room table -- if they make it that far.

Reportedly worth more than $50 per pound by the time they get to restaurants in France, but the ones I pick never make it out of my dining room. Half the time they never even make it out of the kitchen.
