Everyone is calling this "suggestive," but it was disturbing, not sexy, so I'm not sure what she was suggesting.

I boycott Abercrombie & Fitch. Do you? Watch and share. Shared before, but it was time for another. #FitchTheHomeless

Apparently I publicly recommended fling.com. I don't know how the hell that happened, but hey ... lemme know how it goes! ;-)

As Valentine's Day approaches ... or VD, as us singles like to call it, think about doing something good for yourself that just might be good for the love of your life too! =o)

"To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man." ~William Shakespeare
Introduction

My life experiences have taught me who I am and what I want. One thing I've learned is there are times you have to take chances in order to find what you're looking for. Life is short. You always win ... sometimes by actually getting what you want and others by learning the lesson, moving forward, and allowing your experiences to make you a better person. Namaste.

I had been craving spicy Mexican food since I arrived in Seattle over two months ago. Like many, I had been disappointed by the lack of places that offer it. I found Tacos Chukis on Yelp and was bound and determined to find it after one, particularly long day. Not seeing a sign from the street, I decided to street park, talk to people along the way, and journey to it. No one I spoke with had heard of it. Poor babies! It wasn't until I got inside the building and inquired through an employee at another business, that I was directed to venture upstairs and to the back of the building. The smile on the guys face indicated he'd been there before and was sharing a hidden gem with me. This little place is a hidden treasure worth it's weight in gold! The boys were kind and the food was amazing! I ordered far too much, but couldn't stop myself from finishing it anyway. My response to those leaving negative feedback due to a limited menu, is this: No one is a master at all things, but we become masters at doing one thing well. Tacos Chukis does their thing masterfully! They may soon need to expand. I can't stop talking about them! The place is tiny, but go, enjoy, and save me a seat!

I walked into this office absolutely war wounded and bleeding from my experiences. After having Laura defend me I’m her cheerleader for life! I’ve fought for women’s rights all my life so hate to sound “like such a girl” here, but in all my years of hearing hot shot attorneys argue cases I’ve never heard anyone argue with as much fire, passion and heart as this gal! Those boys on the other side of the courtroom didn’t have a fighting chance. If you’ve got a good case, she’s the lawyer you want! It really is about what’s right, but you also need a lawyer who is willing to get behind you. LAURA IS!

I have NEVER been treated so badly in my life! If you enjoy being screamed at and listening to the technicians talk about you in a foreign language while you sit there unable to leave because your nails are only half done, THIS IS THE PLACE for you! I had my finger and toe nails done (totaling $65). The lady who did them (Amy) told me to come back if I needed anything fixed. Although she was completely expressionless, likely from working in an Americanized sweat shop under the supervision of her husband doing nothing BUT nails for days on end. I went in the next day to have them shortened. It had been years since I had my nails done, she had fanned the tips slightly, and I couldn't do anything with them. Her husband berated me in front of a shop full of customers saying, "You tell them when they do them! I fix for you." Then he attacked my hands with a file squeezing my fingers and filing madly. They needed completely redone and he just wanted to get rid of me since they already had my money. I can find better places to spend my cash and would prefer to hand it out in front of their nail chop shop rather than actually go in there EVER again. Ultimately I had to pay another technician in another shop to fix them so I could use my hands. A customer I encountered on my way out the door looked at me in horror, embarassed at what she had heard. I told her, "Gosh, they're a friendly bunch. I won't be coming back here again." I doubt she ever returned either.
