Went here and Parish Wine Bar is no longer open. This is not Parish Wine Bar. It's some other place with a complete different menu and their webpage is mis-advertising this business as being open as Parish Wine Bar. Please update :(

Went for Sunday breakfast. At first I was disappointed in the limited selection, and my husband was sadly deprived of fruit juice. Food turned out to be fantastic, though. I was very impressed with the trout/slaw/jalapeno biscuit. *Very* impressed, and for $4! My decaf was fine. My husband also enjoyed his bacon/avocado biscuit, and the beignets were very tasty. It wasn't too busy when we got there, and we picked a shady spot outside--nice downtown intersection. By the time we left, most of the tables were occupied. One bad thing was the several flies that seemed to find the table itself very interesting. Did they treat the table with something appealing, or is that just life outside? The flies mostly left us alone, but I'd still rather they not have been there. Otherwise it was a very pleasant setting: relaxing, and with just enough activity in the neighborhood to be mildly entertaining.
