If you missed Cappella Romana's sold out performance at +Stanford University's new Bing Concert Hall on Friday night (or you're still recovering from yesterday's Super Bowl), let this video highlight transport you to the ancient Hagia Sophia cathedral in Istanbul.

When artists on our season come to the +Stanford University campus, we look for ways to extend the experience for students on campus. This weekend, Glenn Kotche has a packed schedule at Bing Concert Hall!

Friday at 5pm, come hear a free concert in the Bing Concert Hall Studio where Stanford students perform the works they composed in a small group workshop with Glenn Kotche.

PLUS after his 8pm performance on Saturday January 26th, where Kotche performs his own work and music by Alaskan composer John Luther Adams, “one of the most original musical thinkers of the new century” (The New Yorker), he will join a special after-party for Stanford students. The student after-party will be in the Bing Concert Lobby at 9:45. Enjoy the refreshments and experience a percussion jam with IDA's COLLO. Bring your own instrument and join the jam!

Now that the beautiful new Bing Concert Hall is open, we will be offering building tours every Tuesday at 4pm! To reserve a space on an upcoming tour, please send an email binghall@stanford.edu with your first and second choice of dates.

Backed by $2 million in funding from Learn Capital, Kapor, 500 Startups, Bruno Mars & others, Chromatik’s digital music platform goes live. What do you think? - http://tcrn.ch/XdcSUR

Peninsula & South Bay commuters who take Caltrain should keep an eye out tomorrow morning for our street teams at stations between Millbrae and Mountain View. They'll be handing out copies of our hot-off-the-presses single tickets brochure and Stanford Live water bottles!

Great buzz today on Twitter about the fabulous new bathrooms we've built at Bing Concert Hall. The secret's out: we've installed occupancy indicator lights above each stall!

@RichardScheinin wrote, "Your architects seemingly have attended to all possible aspects of the concert experience. Nice going!"

Inaugural season starts January 11. Order a package of 3 or more events now or buy single tickets starting Friday November 16th!
