Will I be in a lot of pain after Hernia surgery?
It depends on the type of hernia that is being repaired. Inguinal hernia surgery is not a very painful operation. You are sore for the first 1-3 days, and by one week most patients feel fine and are not taking any pain medications. ~ Dr. Kai Nishi #hernia #herniasurgery #inguinalhernia #drgreggkainishi Visit our site for more info: www.herniainstitutebeverlyhills.com

What is a TEP Hernia Repair? With a totally extraperitoneal (TEP) #hernia repair, the peritoneal cavity is not entered and mesh is used to seal the hernia from outside the peritoneum (the thin membrane covering the organs in the abdomen). This approach is considered to be more difficult to perform, but results in fewer complications for the patient.
