Friendliest service I've experienced at an SF restaurant. The portions were small for the price but the food was delicious. We had the fettuccine, the lettuce salad, and the pear crumble. Ambiance is rustic new American. The kitchen is exposed but not too loud.

I just had dinner with my boyfriend there, and we definitely love it. The food was absolutely delicious, perfect flavor combinations and a chill environment. It worth every penny. 110% recommended

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. This is unique, very very San Franciscan. The chef does a great job changing the menu according to what's fresh that day. Everything there is just perfect. The service is fantastic, can't remember our waitress' name but she's super cool and friendly. Small place but the decor is fantastic, again, very San Francisco. We even brought our wine bottle with us the last time and corkage fee was about $25 I think, and we got to enjoy our own wine. Love this place! i hope it doesn't become too popular as it's already hard to find an open table. Bravo!

The menu is quite limited but the food is excellent. Good selection of locally grown and organic. Great service.

I've heard Bar Jules referred to as "the Chez Panisse of San Francisco". It does also have great local ingredients and an inventive seasonal menu. It's very tiny and intimate, which feels nice and cozy. But be sure to make a reservation far in advance since seating is so limited.

Upscale feel. Down to earth menu. On Tuesdays, go for the burgers. They're juicy and simple -- no frills. If you want fries or onion rings, you'll have to try somewhere else. If you want a tasty burger that'll fill you and satisfy you, this is the place to go. Nice selection of wine too. And polite, sociable, and knowledgeable staff. #SFBurgerBoyz

ADORABLE spot - très Hayes Valley :) Though it looks like a casual place from the outside (or a "bar" per the name), don't be fooled, this place is quite expensive. Food was excellent though!

Tasty burger, added gruyere cheese and bacon. Recommended served medium rare, arrived more medium, but can't complain as I enjoyed it thoroughly. Menu is comprised entirely of specials written on a chalkboard. Pleasantly not packed or overcrowded on a Saturday mid-day arrival.
