Doing a bit of research on Instagram in general and I saw your post. You should do a search on the hashtag Genealogy using a web based tool and see what is out there already. Here's a link http://followgram.me/tag/genealogy There are almost 4700 Instagrams tagged with #Genealogy.

Here's an interesting account I came across in a parallel space http://instagram.com/glasnevinmuseum

You can use tools like http://statigr.am/viewer.php to add a Instagram feed to you FB page or even run Instagram competitions. Instagram itself has an option for sharing to Twitter. There are also ways to add your Instagram feed to your website filtering by user and hashtag. Much of this can be automated.

There are an incredible array of opportunities for it's use. You just need to be creative and think about the story your want share and the culture you want to connect with.

There are many ways to optimise how you use Instagram. Hope that helps.

Hope this doesn't have anything to do with the vino I made there in 1996!

If I had this, I could share the scent of the 1997 Wendouree Shiraz slurped the other night #FilthyGoodScents

Just published “Brain Disruptions! First Bit” Thoughts from the #DoLectures 2013.

The Do Lectures 2013. First Bit: Purpose, People & Crowdsourcing

In a forest I met Giants. One of them was very big, the others very small. The small ones had the hearts of Giants.

This is the first in a series of four posts exploring the brain disruptions I experienced at the 2013 Do Lectures. Important things come from the heart, sometimes they require more words! For those of you who this resonates with, please share your thoughts.

The First Bit
Sometimes we forget to take time and look for the beauty in things, our brains become cluttered with the day to day. We get tunnel vision surrounded by the same people, places, jobs. We forget to look up!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the concern. Brain is feeling much better. Chilling in Port Fairy on the beautiful coast of Victoria, an old whaling town in Aus. FYI - Connectivity is not great here. 11th is looking good.

Have scheduled this for 11am UK time can do as early as 9am late has 12:30pm for an hour.

Aim of the meeting will be to share and review the Vision and discuss options for an operational model.

Carlos would love your thoughts on setting a vision as a group to ensure max buy in.  I'd love to see this expanded to incorporate a core set of values which we all believe in.

Adrian and Andy have been doing an awesome job forging ahead here's a link to their thoughts so far. https://docs.google.com/a/coleplanet.com/presentation/d/1rQ70b-6cYeSZ8qBNxBScw1Cha-Vt-Zvp8crO5g-e7LI/edit?usp=sharing

Would be great to hear any suggestions / thoughts on frameworks for an operational model that can set clear decision making processes, roles and responsibilities for the project, and, harness the community developing around 10 Jars.

Would be great if we could get a 90 day plan up and crowd source resourcing to run a wickedly cool, collaborative project. I set up a Trello Group to help, again, open to any other suggestions.  Here's the link: https://trello.com/10jars It's also on the Google+ Community.

Speak soon,

Paul
