Let me start off by saying I am a Supervisor for Customer Support. This office by far over all practices that I have been to has been the most unforgiving, unresponsive, erroneous and untruthful offices I have ever visited. The manager, Sandy, is distant. The staff is forgetful. They have MANY polices that they don't post.
I have been sick for over a MONTH and I rarely ever visit the DR. When I do, its for something that is affecting my sleep, job ect. I explained exactly that to the Dr. Thomas E. Nevrivy, M.D. He gave me a script for what he called, "Codeine" which was mostly expectorant, which was making me sick after 2-3 doses. I called, and explained this to his nurse. She told me the "Codeine was making" me sick. Not likely, since Cheratussin AC only has about 5 MG per 10 ML, whereas over 100MG of the expectorant. That's not even the worst part - Cheratussin AC also has a large concentration of Pseudo-ephedrine. I guess all of this must have escaped Thomas E. Nevrivy, M.D.'s mind when he wrote the script, he didn't mention it. She said I needed Robitussin. I explained I had tried everything over the counter, including Sudafed. I asked her if they could write a script for something with Codeine in it but without the Pseudo-ephedrine. She said no. I asked if there was anything with less expectorant. She said no. She then had the nads to offer me a weaker prescription, without Codeine.
This place will not get any more of my money :). I would feel terrible to treat paying customers and sick people like that. I want my co-pay back, since I didn't receive any treatment, aside from a shitty prescription.
Thanks for ruining my only day off guys :) going to work sick tomorrow!
COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.
ASSOCIATES IN FAMILY MEDICINE SUCKS.
You could always spend that $20 on a Doctor that give's a shit about you and your family.
Now, off to the BBB, and maybe I will file a formal complaint with my Insurance company, so they can get some of their money back. I'd like to see a real doctor get paid instead of these folks.
