Since I've stopped mindlessly listening to NPR (I still listen to it mindfully), I now wake to Pandora on my Chumby 8 -- the perfect clock radio combination for me. It's "Duke Levine Radio" in the mornings, and today it played Danny Gatton, The Hellicasters, and Jazz is Dead.
I'm excited at the possibilities of the WIMM wrist "clock". This sucker will put the ability to have everything on the wrist. And with Android, what a market op. for us developers. I listen to NPR mindfully too and want that + Pandora + alarmclock + weather + notifications... yes!!! http://thisismynext.com/2011/08/02/wimm-developer-kit-preview-video/
Odd thing... since my vacation, I cannot stand to listen to NPR programming anymore. I don't dislike them, but I'm finding the radio chatter annoying. So my morning alarm clock, the Chumby 8, plays Pandora.
Funny thing is I've never intentionally read an article on Romney. My guess is that he was incidentally named in some. Something along the lines of "Romney regrets not being able to be a Shuttle pilot," "Romney has desperately wanted someone to invite him to Google+," "Romney looks like an Android. Phone...", or "Romney has his head in a cloud. Computing..."
