Question of the Day

Sometimes, the best thing to say, is not to say anything.

Which is a very difficult thing to do for a writer, or, y'know, someone like me. I always think that conversation is the key.

But then I have to remember that conversation has to happen at a time that's right for both sides.

That usually lets me keep quiet, or sends me into a writing haze :P

The realisation that sometimes silence is part of a conversation has been one that gives me the patience I need to have deep, meaningful conversations, even the difficult ones.

Because the pause in the conversation is time to breathe and process.

So my question for you today, is:

What aspects of conversation do you find difficult?
