When I get good news, I sit back and just breathe.

After letting it sink in for a moment, I'll jump around, be happy, dance, pump up the volume, whatever...

But for a few moments, I like to sit and just breathe.

Especially if it's big news. It's almost like exhaling the old reality and inhaling the new.

When I get bad news, though, I go into process mode. It looks the same, but as I sit, I'm thinking, arranging next steps, and then it's all action. Make a plan - execute.
