It's rare that I write a review, but, I had to write one for this place. I went with a friend for some dim sum after having purchased the amazon voucher. First off the restaurant was split in to two rooms by a large screen. They knew we had the voucher so they sat us in a separate quieter part of the restaurant in which the ambience was not great. The voucher said we could order from the a la carte menu and we were instead given a selected set menu. The service was far from welcoming. They seemed as if they wanted us out asap and there were so many empty seats! The food itself was disappointing and we left feeling hungry! Also, the rose bud tea was basically hot water and tasteless! Don't bother, if you want dim sum- go to ping pong.

The dim sum is pretty good but we had a horrible experience here on a groupon voucher. We gave them the groupon vouchers at the start and at the end of the night they claimed we had not given them any vouchers and demanded we pay the full bill. Even when I showed them my iphone group on voucher as having been redeemed two hours ago they said, "how do we know about the others?" Astonishing. The service was awful too. In a near empty restaurant they took 45 minutes to bring us a bill. Avoid this place like the plague.

They serve a really good dim sum and everything else looks delicious but it's a very expensive restaurant. Luckily we had a groupon voucher otherwise I would never go there.

I had dinner in this restaurant yesterday. The service was good, but the food...it was just terrible!!! We ordered a lobster, but instead we got just a few pieces of it. And in the menu it says fresh lobster, so probably they do not understand the meaning of the word 'fresh' cause it looked like at least few days old. All the meals were too salty,it was just impossible to eat rice. I was very disappointed, because it was my anniversary dinner and I expected to have a really nice evening, but this restaurant just ruined it. At least there much more better places around where we went to fix the situation afterwards.

We visited with vouchers from amazon, we were made to feel like 2nd rate customers, booked a month before specifically asked to be in jazz room however were no where near the jazz. The food was good, but very salty and limited, which is not customary of chinese. Service lets the whole restaurant down.

I find that most vendors don't give you a 5star experience when you are using a voucher. Not Shanghai Blues - they were fantastic. The food was terrific some of the best Dim Sum I have had in London - Fresh, full of flavour - OMG the steamed SeaBass Roll!! and really well proportioned. The six dishes that were included in our voucher was enough for two people. They didn't try to up-sell us as well and we weren't rushed. I will be back. I would happily pay full price for a meal there and I will be doing that soon. - Terrific!
