Morning Lou!

Don't worry about the difference in views vs subscribers. OK maybe worry about it, but not in the way you may currently thinking about it. It may be more about how YouTube handles promotion and "subscriber burn".

You may want to watch this game theory vid on it if you have 15 minutes because mattpat has a pretty solid theory on it.

Watch "Game Theory: Yes, PewDiePie. YouTube IS Broken": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLJQ0gFHM8s
If you are interested.

Stay awesome Lou!

And for those not aware of the doge origin: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/doge

The RDA is a functional parody piece. It has so many heatsinks as a joke. Heatsinks are funtional but the doge rda is making a joke with them at the same time. Take a look at the packaging "8 Highly functional cooling fins" "such cooling" "many airflows" "wow"

Joke ntensifies when you run the doge in single coil.

Lou, did yours come with the packaging and did it have shibe on it?

I have one and love it. Airflow on lowest, .3 ohm build, and it has a domed cap. With the high posts it is much fun.

Yep!

I personally think for the price, and the packaging - such funny. Its actually a pretty good deal.

I plan to put mine on the FUhatten for much competition.

But still just build it to just .3

Its just fun, functional, pretty cheap, and funny if you are in on the joke.

If there has ever been as "lighten up" RDA its this one, and bonus it works and is cheap.

Awesome job Lou! Big fan of the v1, been holding off on the v2.

I'm not 100% on this but I think you can use the v1 top cap and AFC on the v2 deck.

I've been considering getting the v2 just to use the v2 deck with my v1 top. See if it works and let us know. Sure it means you're taking 2 rda's, and making a single awesome rda (with a potentially totally sub par second rda) but 2 authentic doges still cost less than some single authentics and it may be worth it for some people.

Hey Lou and crew!
I see how a disclaimer about safety/just opinion/yada yada/ blah blah can be tiresome.

I don't make view and I don't do reviews, but I'm wondering if the disclaimer/warning/opinion notice could be a quick splash image Lou can say pause to read so panties aren't bunched.

I'm not really on either side of the debate, I think Lou kicks ass and is awesome for taking us on his journey. But as he gains subscribers and gets promoted by the YouTube system for the likes on his view, the critical/informative/questioning comments will only increase and I repeat as time goes on.

I personally think I'm seeing a trend of any popular reviewers doing anything below 0.2 ohms because they are tired of the inevitable safety debate.

I wonder if just a one-two second splash that Lou can say "pause to read that has his chosen disclaimer/ opinion warning/don't be a dick to your fellow crew reminder" would keep this series an enjoyable thing for Lou to keep doing. Of course if Lou thinks this is a horrible idea that makes it more work and less joy, I hope he ignores that I said a damn thing about it.

Maybe a good family project is upgrading the cloudpour cana to dna40.

Tons of us have them, the box and parts with the dna30 board is like $65 for those that don't have it. Outside of the board and upgraded wiring it would be pretty cheap and easy to all follow along.

Also delrin is the plastic of choice for tips specifically for its heat resistance not releasing toxins at our temperatures. Its heat resistance is also why it cant be used in most 3d printers and is typically machined and lathed. 3d printing is the rage now, but there is a reason we don't see drip tips made with 3d printing, the plastic that can be used in most 3d printers does release toxins at our temps.
