I really liked this restaurant. Food was awesome, the service was just the right amount of attention and atmosphere is warm and inviting! Great views looking at the ocean. I loved the tuna tartar and the steak was absolutely perfect. If you want a great Atlantic City restaurant, this is THE place to go!!

HORRIBLE. My husband and I couldn't wait to enjoy a meal at a Michelin star rated restaurant for our first anniversary. So we decided to make a trip to AC and stay at Revel for the night - $399 a night. We were really excited to try the Surf and Turf for two ($175) which boasts a 42 oz tomahaw steak and 2 lbs of the chef's specialty "chili lobster." I would guess there was about 6-8 oz of lobster on our plate. The steak was okay and the lobster was too spicy. I've had better steaks cooked at home. Before we went we checked the dress code to make sure we were not underdressed. I bought a new blouse and my husband wore a nice shirt with cuff links only to see a man sitting next to us in sweatpants and Uggs. The restaurant was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. We were seated in between a large table of about 10 frat boys and what looked like Honey Boo Boo's family complete with tee-shirts and jeans. Suffice to say we did not enjoy this experience at all. The only nice thing about it was our server who was very nice. He told my husband there's nothing they can do about these kinds of people coming in if they are "high rollers." That's a shame. Needless to say, we won't be back. Next time we want to spend $350 on a meal we will stay in Philadelphia and go to DelFriscos. Very very disappointed in American Cut.

One of the best steak houses I've ever tried. NY Strip, onion rings and roasted potatoes was incredible.

Great food but bad customer service. Long story short, our server took forever to take our separate payments and create individual checks. He made the whole situation uncomfortable for us. The manager and him also got into a tiff about the situation and the manager just kept staring at our table and not saying a word! If you don't want to take individual payments just say it is not our policy and don't do it! Don't say yes and then make a huge deal about it! Very surprised that the customer service was a let down. Might want to rethink your staff.

Such a memorable dining experience. Upon walking in, the decor sets the mood for what's expected on the menu: excellent food! I prefer my steak well-done and I originally planned on going with the hanger steak. The waiter recommended that I go w/ the filet mignon instead as the hanger steak would not be as tender if cooked to my liking. I'm glad I took the advice as I savored every last bite of my steak. I highly recommend American Cut if you plan on visiting Revel in the near future.
