You know, this is really cool cause of how insanely unique some of the things they do are, but it seems just a bit too crazy for my tastes. Love the alien sounding guitar lines though.

I'm going to start a war with this, but I personally thought Chris's vocal performance was absolutely atrocious. His pitch was all over the place, both sustaining a note and just hitting it. Where was his tone from the studio album? I realize it's mostly screaming, but the chorus didn't sound nearly as full and rich as it did in the studio album. It was shrill and hard to listen to. Is his voice that edited in the studio album? I don't know. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
Mitch will always be the sound of Suicide Silence, but honestly, I believe Eddie is a better vocalist. Don't get me wrong, Mitch was very talented than most "hardcore, deathcore, metal, whatever you want to call it" vocalists, but after hearing this song, this being the first time I really paid attention to Eddie's vocal performance considering I don't listen to ATP, Eddie seems to be better. Mitch had one of the most notable high screams ever, but, it seemed like he could only pull it off in studio. He had a strange sound when he performed live, and not in a good way. Eddie seems to have a better live performance, and I like his screams better in general. First, the range. When Eddie hits his all-time highs, like at 2:03, I get chills. They are so sinister yet beautiful. I feel that his pierce more than Mitch's did. Although I believe Mitch had a better overall tone to his high screams, I think Eddie's have a more powerful delivery. I believe his lows are far better than Mitch's, mainly because Mitch's lows sounded like he was limited and couldn't get very low, where as Eddie makes it sound easy. They also sound a lot more powerful, developed, and beefy than Mitch's. What really sells me about Eddie's vocals is how articulate he is. Although Mitch was pretty understandable, Eddie has amazing diction with his screams, which I find to be a very impressive attribute. This leads me to believe he knows every which way around his vocal chords and knows exactly what he's doing. Again, this isn't to say Mitch didn't have these qualities, but, in all, I believe Eddie is a better vocalist, and will be an amazing asset. The best part is that even with Eddie in the band, they still sound like Suicide Silence.
Nice guys! Well done. Drums could have more beef, but again, it's nit-picking. Really like this. Cheers to you guys, I wish you guys success.
