Recently, some of my fellow gamers on the N.I. Network were talking about how best to learn a new system and in particular, the very unique dice system of Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars RPG, and whether learning at the table in front of other gamers is bett...

Paris Conte aka +Pure Mongrel, like all of us Savages, has experienced extreme dice randomness. This can lead to disappointing outcomes. We invited him back on the show to explain the situation and his frustrations. He also played devil's advocate.
We also needed help, a new voice with good insight into the system and dice randomness. So we invited +Florian Krell l of +Grim Perspectives on YouTube to share his thoughts.
We hope you enjoy the discussion that came out of that.

Just hit the 4th stretch goal with over 20 days left in the campaign. That means two "one-sheets", a custom form-fillable character sheet appropriate for the genre and 6 more pre-gens reflective of the archetypes.

If this keeps up, the project might need more stretch goals! I'm ecstatic for the CCS crew and so proud to be the publisher on this project!

The Blackwood Errantry Codex is NOW AVAILABLE! This new fantasy setting for the Savage Worlds RPG system combines the whimsical magic of European folklore and the high-flying martial arts action of Chinese wuxia stories. It's Grimm's Tales meets Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It's Iron Monkey meets The Witcher. You are errants, a class of wandering adventurers, who search a landscape of deadly beauty for a way to save the settled folk of the Elder Kingdom from ruin.

The Blackwood Errantry Codex is a setting guide with a full Plot Point Campaign, The Way of the Elder King.

The Blackwood Errantry Codex is now available in digital and print on demand format at DriveThruRPG!

So go forth, errants! The Way's Margin is calling!

So, who loves urban fantasy settings?

We at JII have been talking about an African themed setting for a while. Something that turns familiar themes and tropes on its head and gives it a new flavor gamers in other countries have never experienced before.

Then we came across this kickass short film based on the awesome book “Apocalypse Now Now” by Charlie Human. Monsters, magic and more in Cape Town South Africa. It is something different and we love it!

We want to hear what you guys think. Would a setting book in the world of “Apocalypse Now Now” be something you would be interested in playing? We really hope so. Have a look at the short film and let us know. Be warned, the short does contain swearing
