HypeDyn 2 version 0.22.2 alpha has just been released:
https://github.com/narrativeandplay/hypedyn2/releases/tag/0.22.2-alpha

HypeDyn 2 is a complete re-write of the original HypeDyn. The editor has been rebuilt from scratch, but the reader was ported over from the old version. This is a pre-release version, so no documentation or examples are included.

We are looking for testers, particularly anyone who has experience with HypeDyn. If you are feeling brave, please grab the latest build from the link above, and post any issues you find on GitHub here:
https://github.com/narrativeandplay/hypedyn2/issues

Thanks!

The Neukom Institute for Computational Science at Dartmouth College is holding a "Turing Test in Creativity", one of which is the "DigiLit" competition:

"The 'DigiLit' prize competition encourages the creation of algorithms able to produce a 'human-level' short story of the kind that might be intended for a short story collection produced in a well-regarded MfA program or a piece for The New Yorker. The Prize seeks to reward algorithms that could, for example, write stories for a creative writing class in which students are asked to submit a new short story each day."
