Hand Crafted Wines. Modern Casual Dining.

The Cooper’s Hawk concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private barrel-aging room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store…all under one roof. Each Cooper’s Hawk location is distinctive in layout and décor, but carries the same warmth and elegance that guests have come to expect.

This is my go to for special occasions. The service is good but, if you go at a very busy time, the responsiveness of the wait staff can become a bit lacking. The food is always excellent. I've had many different dishes and have always been very pleased. The wine is also great! While it's easy to spend a decent amount of money here, you never feel like you didn't get a great value for your money. I highly recommend you have a reservation no matter what day of the week it is as they are always packed at dinner time.

Had lunch here, the service was very good. We had the Calamari, it was very good and large enough to share for 2 people. One of the entrees we had was the Jambalaya which was also very good with chicken, shrimp, andouille, onions, peppers, and jasmine rice. The other dish we ordered was the Country Rigatoni which was supposed to have italian sausage, mushrooms, chicken, tomatoes and herbs in a tomato garlic cream sauce. There were hardly any mushrooms and the sauce was thin, not creamy. They do try to push you into buying wine and joining their wine club, but I am not interested. #CitiExperts @Localguides

Cooper's Hawk is a beautiful elegant restaurant. I tend to reserve going there mostly for special occasions. Their wine tastings are fun and their staff is superbly knowlegable about the delicious wines they produce and serve. Their food is exceptional. I love their Lobster Bisque soup. They no longer offer the Scallops with Asparagus and Risotto... which was my previously my favorite entree. Now I lean toward their sumptuous Short Rib Risotto. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It is a VERY popular place, so parking is not always convenient and wait times can be long... for both wine tastings or meals without reservations. I recommend eating earlier or on weekdays. I did attend one New Years Eve event there, (which is always the day before New Year's Eve proper), that while the food and wine were excellent... there were elements that made it seem not as well executed in regards of planning and reservations as I would have liked.

Horrible service 2x in a row. It was my birthday, and decided to go to celebrate at Cooper's Hawk in Wheeling. They sat us down ,and for a 1/2 hour nobody acknowledged we we there at all! I had to go to the front and ask what was going on...the waitress finally came ,and said she did not see us...Ruin the mood of my birthday dinner. This is the 2x we had bad service at this location. I suggest trying another restaurant where they care about there customers.
