Would this help anyone out with learning nsibidi characters? This is supposed to be an exercise where one tries to read the characters alone at first, and then with the help of the green transcribed letters and then the vocabulary list below if necessary, the text can also be copied as many times as is needed.

I was wondering what you think about the Igbo names for words like street, avenue, road, boulevard for road signs.

How many monosyllabic nouns are there in Igbo? The only one I know for sure is ji, yam.

Two years later, wow. Anyway, what I really want for people here to do is to contribute to the terminology creation that has been started in the Ikpokwu, I don't believe that one person rolling out new words is necessarily the best approach to terminology creation especially when nobody else is aware of it of testing the new terms out. So now I'll post some new terms here and ask you whether it makes sense first of all, and whether it is a good translation, or even if there already exists a word for the idea it's describing, and if it flows with the language.

The first word I'll start off with, so you don't have to scroll through the Ikpokwu dictionary, is ojedụ, robot, this term comes from the roots o + jé [move] + dụ [exist]. What do you think?
