Hi Sahana, I am fascinated with the cultural and technological drivers that will affect the role of L&D and I think you have summed it up nicely. I agree that the role will generally change to one of support, facilitation, and change agent, though systematic instruction will be one part of the toolkit. I think that these are fascinating times, and the opportunity to help individuals and organizations become self-empowered has greater potential for creating a better world than the old L&D role.
