I don't know what's worse, the awful picture of beer or lame article that somehow comes to the strange conclusion that Republicans are more likely to drink Craft Beer than Democrats.

The Huffington Post asks the world's most obvious question: Is Oktoberfest a Tourist Trap? Of course it is. Silly title aside, the point is a salient one. The festival is no longer a celebration of Bavarian agriculture and culture. It is the world's largest drunk fest, complete with outrageously priced beer. The only way a local is going to get in, today, is as a member of a parade to gawked at and ogled. New Orleans has managed this dichotomy well, only time will tell if the people of Munich will tolerate it.
