I read that 1 our of 7 Americans receive food stamps. One person = $200.  There are communities  where those stats are much higher. The government is threatening to reduce food stamps for poor people? How could this happen? Americans have always stood for equality. If basic needs of humans are not met it will begin a revolution.

That sick bee crawling on my driveway, a bout of  diarrhea, the rapid disappearance of ladybugs and honey bees in my garden all added to the suspicion that someone had sprayed herbicides. Was it the electric company or the owners of the property?  The next day everything that had been green along the driveway turned yellow.
Is not Oregon and environmentalist a synonym?
As it turns out both the power company and the owner of the duplex I live in have been spraying herbicides periodically. They both insist that their spays don't affect us humans. Just tell me where the bees went then because my plants  need to be pollinated.   Is anyone else concerned about this?

Sunshine in Oregon- no rain for weeks. Not common but this may mean I don't have to move to Tucson.

Iraq 10 years later- 2 A.M.  American soldiers in Baghdad raid  a house after receiving a tip that the house was a gun transport center for the opposition. By the time the loud tank and humvees   rolled up the men had all fled.  No weapons or traces of such were found in the house, just women and children.  This is a woman soldier searching the Iraqi woman, and a woman soldier at the door on the left from 91st Engineers.  Far right is Iraqi translator who named himself Sunny.

“Do stuff. be clenched, curious. Not waiting for inspiration's shove or society's kiss on your forehead. Pay attention. It's all about paying attention. attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. stay eager.”
