I am a visual anthropologist living in Oregon. Some call me a photojournalist, photographer, animal lover, human rights advocate, teacher and photo coach. I don't want to live my life about "me" attempting to become someone important, famous or rich.
It is that young girl that I hugged when her brother was murdered; the kid I get to laugh with over some silly joke, my rescued dog who now lives a life of bliss. It's the little moments, the serendipity, risks, adrenaline for justice and the challenge to learn how to love better each day that inspire me. I thank God for coming into my life at age 17 and giving me his unrelenting love. I've been re-learning ever since then. Be patient with me as I came from minus 0 and will be learning until I die how to love you better.
