First, apologies if this comes off a bit spammy, I'm just really trying to help a good friend of mine who has spent the last year working a full time job while simultaneously pouring all of his heart, soul and money into getting his Beef (and Lamb) Jerky business off the ground.

He's been selling a fair bit to regular customers, but people buy jerky in such small amounts that he needs something to differentiate himself more from the mass jerky producers so he can increase his customer base.

Then he experimented with Kobe Red beef and learned of it's deliciousness when marinated in liquid crack and dehydrated.

He's been making some small batches of Kobe Red (Akaushi) beef and the end result is amazing. He thinks this could be an excellent differentiator between his Jerky and that you might find elsewhere. However, he needed about $5,000 more to get his new product out into the masses and is almost at his goal via his kickstarter - as of writing, he is close with $3,745 of his $5,000 goal but only has 7 days to go!
I thought you all might be a good crowd for some locally produced artisan beef jerky, so if you're on board to help support a local business while acquiring the best beef jerky you've ever had, please help my longtime friend, it would mean the world to him and his family!

Do yourself a favor and go here. When you do, order the BBQ shrimp. Seriously amazing dish - I want this for my last meal. I've been to many "New Orleans style" restaurants and this is the only one that does their amazing food culture any real justice.

Don't order takeout without checking your order from this place. I've ordered to-go 3 times from this place and every single time they've forgotten something
