#EnvironmentalPledge  no 11: The Vegetarian Option
Pretty straightforward - vegetarian food has (you know, all other things being somewhat equal and so on) a smaller environmental impact.
I pledge to choose a vegetarian option from the menu as long as they are viable - i.e. nutritious, onion free, and preferably also lactose free - alternatives.*
(*Sushi is a difficult matter here. Luckily I only eat sushi once or twice a month, but I'll throw in a veggie sushi every now and then too.)

#EnvironmentalPledge  no 9: Climate Compensate, y0
My work trip to Brazil was a severe hit to my environmental karma - a 2-week-long flesh-eating orgy, and flying once in 3 days. Will have to do some carbon emission calculations on this, but I'm currently on my third week being a temporary (lacto-ovo) vegetarian as an effort to climate compensate.
Because I'm pretty sure this is more efficient than planting trees.
(And no, I don't eat just chickpeas...but I effin' love them!)

#EnvironmetalPledge  no 7: Attend The "R" Camp
This weekend I'm not attending Lindy Shock, but instead the Halloween Workshop with Daniel & Åsa Heedman, here in Malmö. As I mentioned in #6 I've been flying way too much the last 5 years, and dance camps are mainly to blame for that.
I hereby pledge to only attend dance events that are easily reachable from my home town by train or bus (unless, of course, more distant events happen to coincide with me already going there anyway). Sorry swing dancers, you know where to find me.
Because there's not really any point in visiting distant cities just to dance your ass off.

Besides, Paris is just about the only interesting European city with a dance camp that I haven't already visited.

Dear #HELLDIVERS , when a #capital  is #undersiege  you need to drop your little personal agendas and go #DEFEND  it, ON THE DOUBLE! Lest the war will be lost in no time. Have I made myself clear?

Sincerely,
General Seppuccu

#EnvironmentalPledge  no 10: Support Local, d00d!
This is my hairdresser Anna's honey, produced here in Malmö. No, it's not ecologically produced per definition, but I think the lack of transportation around the world kind of makes up for that. With a pretty good margin, in fact.
I pledge to support local produce when possible. Because global transportation sucks.

#EnvironmentalPledge  no 8: That Natural Scrub
Many facial scrubs, such as the one I've been using previously (pictured), contain microplastics which end up in our oceans. It takes plastics over 400 years to degrade completely in the oceans and it seems they are fucking up ecosystems in ways nobody previously suspected (Swedes might want to check out the latest Forskning och Framsteg).
I hereby pledge to switch to a natural scrub consisting of salt and olive oil (also pictured). Yep, it works just fine.
Because microplastics don't belong in the seas, and nanoplastics don't belong inside animal cells.
Besides, olive oil is really good for your skin.
