Visuals speak. A thousand words, or even more.
Visuals speak. A thousand words, or even more. But are we able to hear what they say? And do we really understand what they say? Rhetoric is the art of persuading the audience, with written or verbal arguments, or using any other means of communication. The...

Visuals Speak. A thousand words. And More - 2
All visuals have a message. Some are created by us, some, by nature. The beholder/receiver of the message analyses the message, makes meaning out of it; the visual generates responses at several levels. There are several factors that have an effect on our p...

Good, clean well maintained but anything but 'Silent'. Out picnic fun completely spoint by the non-stop loud music at the pools. Unfortunately all those 'Kutirs' are around the pools. If you really want a silent resort avoid this.

What an amazing place this is. i decided to buy a plot here immediately after I drove over the last hillock and saw the view. What more could a trekker want? climb Naneghat in the morning, and by afternoon, you are in your own holiday cottage in BTR - Malshej. These photographs are views from my plot, and I am making a cottage of bamboo here this month. So with luck and hope, I should be spending my first weekend of 2015 trekking to Naneghat and climbing down to my own cottage. And there is also Jivdham Durg, Daryaghat, and a little further away, Siddhagad, Gorakh and Maccchindra!

The birding season starts in December end. So we were quite disappointed. But seems to be a very good place. Do enjoy the boat ride by locals from about mid-way point in the park.

A little away from the town but no views from the room. The walls need a fresh coat of paint. Never judge a hotel bt the pictures on the website. The food in their restaurant is good but there is no bar. The staff very courteous. They readily accepted my request to provide tea and hot water earlier than their ususal time at 7 a.m. This one is clearly for budget travellers and since it is at one end of the town you need a vehicle.

This is a must see for all visitors to Munnar. You get to see the orthodox tea manufacturing process. The 30 min. film shown is quite informative. Well organized.

Good, clean rooms, courteous staff. Good food in their restaurant too. Overall no complaints, except breakfast starts at 8 a.m. So for those who wish to get out early its a bit of a problem. There is a very small reataurant bang oposite this hotel which serves breakfast. If you are not finicky do try it.
