Saw this quote today on Facebook:

Books are no more threatened by Kindle than stairs by elevators. - Stephen Fry

 I think the analogy has some merit.  There will probably always be people who prefer paper books, just like there are people who prefer stairs.  But just like most people don't walk up 10 flights of stairs when there's an elevator available, I think most people will choose electronic form for very large books.
