Very frustrating. Arrived on time and was cheerfully greeted in the South Tower lobby where receptionist looked at the schedule and had a coworker escort us up to labs. It turns out that was a BIG mistake since the schedule called for some other things to happen on schedule (I found out after the fact that labs can be done any time) - it made us late for everything else. To compound the problem, they couldn't find a vein for the IV. So they had a special team come in to try it. No go. And that put us even further behind schedule. Next, the nurse comes out to try to help and complicates a simple explanation - maybe it was a language or culture barrier. It annoyed me that she blamed us for being late. Hey! We were a half hour early and the staff here made us late! So now we're sitting at Procedures to have them try to get the IV in. But all this delay means at least one more trip to get thing done. One would think that they'd have their act together. Not getting that high confidence feeling :( I noticed that I'm not alone. There was another patient who was there and apparently they mis-scheduled her.

My experience with Cedars----customer service at its worst My sister took my mom here for a neurological consult for an aneurysm. The surgery was schedule in 4 weeks. A day later, a lady called from Cedars telling us that they are in the process of getting authorization for the surgery and it may take WEEKS. So, we thought the appointment is off until further notice. For 2 weeks, I tried to contact the surgeon to ask questions related to the surgery, recovery time, complications, risks etc.. Only the NURSES take the questions, relay the questions to the surgeon, then relay the answers back to me.....A lot of information got diluted/lost in transit. I could not tell my mom anything regarding the surgery because I did not get any direct answers and she was very concern. Got a phone call for an appointment. Showed up for the appointment and were told that they are getting the blood type for the surgery. My mom panicked and refused to proceed. We went home, and the next day I got a phone call from the surgery scheduler, who was acting like a QUEEN BEE, screaming at me saying that it was "messed up" that we cancelled the surgery. The surgery that I could not obtain any INFORMATION because they are too busy to answer their patient's concerns. The QUEEN BEE was more concern about her inconvenience having to switch surgery schedules around than a patient's mental welfare and preparation. FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL. maybe I should give their customer relation department a call.

My Friend was seen there last night an she was treated Very bad she was in severe pain due to ovarian cyst an other problem the doctor that was over seeing her refused to give her any pain medication to ease her pain , My friend told me she had to wait over 4 hours to be seen.. an that when she was seen they the hospital staff rushed her in an then rushed her out.. If this is the way to treat Civilians i hope This Medical Center gets shut down. Thank you an have a nice day :-)

I am sure Dr Kroft is a great spine surgeon, but as far as his office, and office manager that was a terrible experience. I was left to coordinate everything. My surgery was schedule for Monday 12/15. On the 12/11 I had not ideal of my out of pocket expense, no address where my surgery was going to take place. on 12/12 I was told that surgery was taken off calendar, and that the doctor would not take my insurance by the time he would be able to see me again. I have BlueCross insurance. If I ran my business like this, I would be out of business. Going to find another surgeon now.

I saw the Chiropractor here in the East tower, my friend is a Cedars nurse and she referred me to this guy-Dr. Dexter. He is great! Explained my condition- cervical disc herniation- better than my regular doctor. It finally made sense why i was getting shooting pain into arm...AND he gave me a detailed plan on how to fix it- EVEN BETTER my pain was way down after the first treatment and GONE after three weeks and hasn't returned yet! I know i need to keep taking care of my neck but MAN, no pain is the best thing ever. Especially after three years of pain!! Check him out on yelp- Dexter Chiropractic- you won't regret it!

extremely happy to have my father in this hospital. The best possible doctor (E.Tsimerinov) together with nurse( Marsha), created an atmosphere where elderly(91) is permanent feeling help and attention. The more important, this doctor make patient to believe that he is not alone in his hard tasks and the hope for better is permanent with him. Love all of you DEAR PEOPLE. The all stuff is very good also. Thanks Cedar Sinai.
