God do not send false prophets to speak His Words nor do He confirm false prophesies, the Bible calls these type of prophets "foolish" in (Ezekiel 13:3). When God gives a Word He issues out Wisdom with it.
They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD says: and the LORD has not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, whenever you say, The LORD says it; although I have not spoken? Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 13:6-8
What the false prophets delivered in Ezekiel's day was not what they had seen or heard. They were NOT praying prophets, had no intercourse with Heaven; they deliberately thought of ways to please the people, not how to do them good; they did not stand against sin. They flattered people into vain hopes. This had widen the breach, by causing men to think of themselves to be deserving of eternal life, when the wrath of God was upon them. They had the nerve to hope for a confirmation of their word." They had come to believe their own lies.
You can say "God has given you a word "prophesy" concerning me until you're blue in the face, if God didn't tell me and if it does NOT line up with His Word it is a "false prophecy," "Lie." For example 1 Kings 13 Chapter; The man of God (prophet) from Judah went to Bethel to prophesy against King Jeroboam, God commanded him by His Words not to eat bread, drink water, nor return the same way he came, but the man of God listened to the false prophet and went home and ate bread and drank water, the prophet disobeyed God's command and death was the result. A deliberate lie told to the man of God, he should have said NO God told me NOT to eat, drink or go the same way I came. if God told you what to do and someone comes to you with something totally different it's a "false prophesy." We should always be walking in Holy Spirit, Wisdom and Discernment so we can follow God's instructions and refute lying prophets in the earth.
For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it? Jeremiah 23:18
I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. Jeremiah 23:21-22
You prophets who are on a self-appointed mission, without waiting for the command of the Lord Almighty in whose name you profess to come He's going to expose you and uproot you from His people.
