The restaurant lives up to its reputation. Every bit a Hollywood classic! The ambience is ancient yet modern, the red chairs and the wooden walls giving it an ancient look. The menu is quite modern with choices of Italian salads, pasta, French au gratin and grilled food. The murals on the top of the wall also have a very classy look. We ordered tomato soup, onion soup, spaghetti Alfredo, Musso's special salad and the Welsh rarebit. The food took a bit too long to come out but the bread and cheese kept us busy. The rarebit came out awesome and so did all the other dishes ... The sauce on the Alfredo was so full of cheesy flavors!! Overall a great experience eating in a great ambience restaurant. One star less for the wait... Else it would have been 5 stars!!

Super classic place. Great food and martini's. Nice to come sit at the bar and have a drink before dinner, and to imagine it is the same bar William Faulkner, Orsen Wells, Charles Bukowski, etc. sat at sipping cocktails.

Love the martinis. Been here twice and each time dragged bunch of people with me because it's so good.

Decided to come here on a Saturday. It was a place I always wanted to visit. The food was fresh, flavorful and natural. The service was great. You can validate parking in the back for a cost that was easier than a meter. Nice ambiance in this restaurant. No famous people.

I visited Musso and Franks the previous weekend after seeing it featured on California Gold. Huell heavily praised the establishment so I had had high hopes. I had the Fettuccini Alfredo with a side of Steak Fries, this place receives a 2 star from me for only one reason. The service and ambience of the restaurant was impeccable. The food however was the worst I'd had in a long time and for the price of $33 it should have been far better than what I could make at home for about $10. Unless you've got money to burn on an expensive steak, I'd say this place is one to pass up.

I walked in to this resaurant. They were rude and threating me on the phone. They assaulted me. I know this seems crazy, but I'm not crazy. They slammed me down on my back and I'm still suffering for it. These guys need to be put down,

Stop by and have a classic martini at the bar. Drink like all those old famous writers used to. Place still looks the same and probably has some of the same staff, hah.

Restraunt has an odd smell.. kind of musty... we ordered the bone in ribeye, spaghetti and meatballs, and lobster ravioli, but none of them tasted good... in fact... they didn't have any flavor. Dissapointed.
