Here’s what is actionable with our cursory look at the elite quarterback sponge effect: there are — and will be — receivers with low average draft positions who play in offenses headed by signal callers who are more than a little likely to post top-10 fantasy campaigns. #fantasyfootball

Should you prioritize big receivers in 2015 drafts, even if they don't have elite QBs? #fantasyfootball

I wanted to wrap my partisan brain around the concept of a high-end wide receiver who happens to be short and a feather weight. Below is a summary of what I found — a rough composite of what it looks like when an undersized wideout reaches the ranks of the fantasy football elite. #fantasyfootball

The cream of the fantasy football receiving crop was flooded with short guys who don’t exactly break the scale, as the heavy, towering giants of 2012 and 2013 accounted for just half of fantasy’s elite pass catchers. #fantasyfootball

Trestman is best as a schemer, play caller, and tutor — not as a leader. That much became brutally clear in 2014. It’s why I’m climbing back aboard the Team Trestman bus in 2015, and consequently becoming a true believer in Joe Flacco as a premiere arbitrage play on some of the game’s elite signal callers. #fantasyfootball #ravens

This is a look at a young Roy Burns (the killer from Friday The 13th: A New Beginning) and his time at Camp Crystal Lake. It marks a prequel to the most controversial Friday movie. #fridaythe13th

Wilson finished 2014 with 854 rushing yards and a half dozen rushing scores — rushing production that harkens back to Michael Vick before he was old, beleaguered, and collecting a paycheck on the Jets’ bench. Wilson, thankfully, doesn’t come with the injury risk of every other running quarterback. He only had 42 more drop backs in 2014 than he did in 2013, and his efficiency remained spectacular: After scoring .58 fantasy points per drop back in 2013, Wilson posted the mythical .60 points per drop back this year. My 2015 crystal ball shows Wilson being over-drafted in re-draft leagues — particularly casual ones. #fantasyfootball

Nothing in fantasy football is static. Things change, trends shift, game plans vary, defenses adjust, game flow wreaks havoc, opportunity ebbs and flows, and variance rules.
Just when we think we’ve nailed down a team or player or situation as inherently good or bad, change takes charge. #fantasyfootball

You can’t sit Peyton in December weather conditions in which he’s traditionally struggled. You can’t sit him because the Broncos’ offensive identity has undergone a radical an undeniable shift over the past three weeks. You can’t sit him because three quarterbacks with juicy matchups are out there, sitting on your waiver wire, begging for your attention. #fantasyfootball
