New Zealand's Duke Engines has been busy developing and demonstrating a bizarre axial engine that completely does away with valves, while delivering excellent power and torque from an engine much smaller, lighter and simpler than the existing technology. We spoke with Duke co-founder John Garvey.

This three level thrift store/café/restaurant is very cool, and had so many different things to look at. I really enjoyed the meal, at an excellent price!

I love the clothing selection here, and the impulse buy section near the cashes is full of cute and fun knickknacks!

A very cute breakfast and brunch place in Little Italy near Rosemont and Mile End. Service is very nice, and the food is very nice, but perhaps not perfect perfect, hence 4 stars. Don't let that stop you though!

My favorite bagels in the city have always been from here. Open all day long, you can pick up a meal if you need one, or just load up on bagels any time of the day or night. They also carry Félix and Norton cookies!
