Some of the emails I receive at work really get under my skin. I work for a Metal Fabrication shop and I receive a lot of construction emails. It's a pet peeve of mine to read "100 Lineal Feet" in an email. Incorrect usage of the word irritates me for some reason.

For those who don't know the difference, Linear is a measurement of distance, while Lineal refers to ancestry. Read about on this Wikipedia page (http://goo.gl/2ZHjx), and stop using the wrong words!!!!
For other uses, see Linear (disambiguation). Not to be confused with Lineage. In mathematics, a linear map or function f(x) is a function which satisfies the following two properties: Additivity (also...

Ah, Chipotle. While I have to admit for a fast food restaurant, they're just that. It's not the GREATEST FOOD EVAR like people can say. Chipotle, being a fast food restaurant, is probably one of the best ones of the choices. It's quick, good and very filling. The price is fair for the amount of food you get (it's hard to finish a whole burrito unless you're starving!). Before I start, a word. Make sure you do a little bit of research before you step up to order, or at least make sure you allow the people behind you to go ahead until you make up your mind. Fresh ingredients make this place really stand out. Their cilantro-lime rice is by far a favorite of mine and I've created my own recipe for it for home cooking (not hard to do...). I always get the Barbacoa because it's magical. I build my burrito with lettuce, guacamole, pinto beans, cheese, and medium sauce. It's always a favorite of mine, but like I said- don't come here expecting "authentic" Mexican cuizine, it's a fast food joint, but a good one at that.

Guadalajara is definitely a great place to eat. When you walk in, you're always greeted with a smile and seated right away. I've been here several times and I have never waited for a table. Wait staff is pretty fast and thorough and always pleasant. The place is very clean and very colorfully decorated. *Tip: The restrooms are located to the right of the bar. You have to walk down a little hallway to access them. You can see it as soon as you walk in.* Their bar I've never visited, so I can't say anything regarding the bartender skills, but I can tell they have quite a selection of different alcohols. Now, down to the food. It's great! It's not the greatest Mexican restaurant I've ever had in my entire life, but I've been to some extremely authentic restaurants, so that's quite hard to compare to. I'm not saying they aren't authentic, by the way. You are greeted with a basket of chips and salsa (go figure!), Their chips are always warm and seem to be freshly cooked. The salsa itself has a very mild bite and is wonderful albeit a little soupy. I typically get the Carne Asada plate, which is served with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole, their own type of pico de gallo and, of course, a hearty helping of Carne Asada. Topping that is char-grilled green onions. Every time I eat there I'm satisfied, stuffed and walk away happy. I've never had a bad experience. I gave 4 stars simply because their menu is fairly chosen (they don't have ALL of the great classics), and they are a little pricier than I'd like for what you get. However, I'll continue to go back. I've read some reviews on this restaurant talking about a "lack of hispanics" seated in the restaurant. Now, I know you're talking about the diners, not the wait staff. What does that have to do with the restaurant? Really? Restaurants don't choose the people who dine there. Also, this is Redding. If you want to see hispanics at restaurants because it makes it "authentic" or something, then you don't belong posting reviews.

I must say, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of eating at. I met some friends for lunch one day, El Charro being their suggestion. I was eager to try it as I'd heard so many good things about it. We were greeted with chips, salsa and cabbage, as usual. The salsa was wonderful and the cabbage was pretty good, but it wasn't until my friend ordered a basket of flour tortilla chips that brought the flavors out. I ordered the Flautas and I was very happy with the serving and the taste. It was wonderful. I don't remember what they ordered, but I remember everything looking and smelling fabulous. The waiter was just attentive enough without being too intrusive. The tables are kind of crammed in there, but it's nothing that ruins your night. Overall, I recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic food. I will be returning to taste more of their menu.

I would never print anywhere else in the Redding area. Joey and her family are wonderful people who go out of the way to get the job done right, no matter what. The quality of Joey's work is top-notch and affordable in comparison to the other print shops in the area. I would recommend stopping by the shop and saying hello to Joey and the shop kitty "Bee". Family feel and down-to-earth honest person is what makes the experience with Palo Cedro Printing phenomenal. I recommend Palo Cedro Printing on an almost daily basis to anyone I encounter for any and all of their printing/design needs.

Hands-down 5 stars. This quaint little restaurant is the best Italian food I've ever eaten (at a restaurant, that is)!!!! I'm Italian and grew up with a very particular taste for Italian food. Agreeing with Mellisa C., if you're into Olive Garden, you're in the wrong place. This is a truly amazing and romantic experience and to compare it to Olive Garden would be a sin. I grew up (since 5th grade) in Turlock and lived right around the corner from this place. I always wondered how they were. When I first came here I found out it was new owners. They had just opened about 3 minutes before I showed up, so the experience was definitely one of a kind. I met the owner and she's the biggest sweetheart I've ever met. My girlfriend and I were greeted with a big hug. On your table you will find bottles of Olive Oil (looks too light to be extra virgin :/ ) and Balsamic vinegar. Combining those together in the traditional style along with Villa Napoli's wonderful bread that you can't get enough of amounts to pure bliss. I ordered my normal- Chicken Parmigiana. It was to die for. The chicken was properly breaded and super moist. My girlfriend ordered the Ravioli Aurora (I think it's called) and it was absolutely divine. Hand-made excellent food at a reasonable price. Those who say any different are mad. The service can be hit or miss, but the nirvana of this restaurant makes any downside worth it. Plus, when you meet 'Mama', you'll fall in love with her! I had the pleasure of meeting her husband, the chef as well. They make you feel like you're in their dining room, and treat you as guests.

I met my girlfriend here for lunch. It was pretty good. I remember my flautas plate being something that was good, but I wouldn't order it again. It was actually an odd feeling I've never come across before; I liked it and couldn't complain, but I won't order it again... I have nothing bad to say about it though.. Weird, for me... Anyway, the service was decent, salsa and cabbage were amazing. I'll be returning to try more of their menu, because it was good food.
