If you are using Plasma 5 with Kubuntu, share your note with us.
Using it right now. Really like it. The one really anoying thing: For some reason links in firefox refuse to launch applicaitons (i.e. magnet links) ... Haven't found a solution so far. Recently it even started to display folders using the picture tool. Come on! If you don't know, just ask meeee! ;)
Also, I only get to X when using the upstart option in grub.Mar 13, 2015
I use it also. Everything works fine except the Dropbox 's icon which doesn't appear in the panel on the right of the screen. However, synchronization seems Ok.Mar 13, 2015
I'm not on 15.04 yet but I switched to Kubuntu next plasma and I am very very happy with it.Mar 13, 2015

I'm using KDE after a looong time. Plasma 5 is really beautiful. I like it. However there are a few niggles .
1. .deb files are opening in ark and not muon. Have to go CLI to install deb files.
2. Plasma shell is using 19% RAM , kwin 6.6% and xorg 68% out of the allowed 1745 MB. AMD E2 processor with ATI graphics card. Leaves very little free RAM for Firefox.
3. KDE wallet doesnt automatically unlock upon login. Hence WiFi is not connected until wallet is unlocked.Mar 13, 2015
+Tjaart Blignaut Please be aware that the next PPA is deprecated. I successfully purged it and managed an upgrade, but it is more difficult. See the links here for more: https://community.kde.org/Plasma/Packages#KubuntuMar 14, 2015
+Valorie Zimmerman thanks for the advice. I moved from Neon which was really old for some reason to Next. I may just wait for the gold release of Vivid since I make a point of it to not upgrade before official releases on my whole OS, only on desktop environments. It's not long from now in any case.Mar 16, 2015
