One of our very favorite restaurants! Go on fajita nights - can't beat it. Love the patio on a beautiful evening. Torreon Margheritas are excellent.

I have been going to Torreons for over 30 years. I was always impressed with the food, drink and service. However last weekend I took my family there. We were told that it would be an hour wait for carry out. So we ordered and then ordered drinks. As a rule everytime we come there we were offered salsa and chips. This time we were told we would now have to ask for them. After a long wait we were brought chips. We continued to have slow service with reordering drinks. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, watching the patrons completely turned over, we asked what the status of the order was. We were told they were busy. We advised that if they could not get to order, give us our money back and we would go some where else. While it was being checked on the manager continued to stare at us. I went up to him and told him how bad the service had been. His response was come back another time and it will be better. Unfortunately you lost a long time customer.

Hidden gem, literally. Off the main road, it's easy to miss, but the best margaritas bring me back.

Torreon has been there for something like 52 years now, third generation of ownership by the same family. I've been going there for three or four years, pretty regularly, and I've never had anything less than a four-star experience. Portions are big and the food is delicious. Staff is goodnatured and efficient. Yup, the place is very small, and the hours are limited. But as the owner once told me -- "Why take a chance of ruining a good thing?" It's one of my favorite places to take friends when they visit.

Cute place but food was horrible. Enchilada sauce tasted like they poured it right out of the can. I can make better.

I had the beef enchiladas and they were great. The only problem we had was it was HOT inside the building. It was over 90 outside at dinner time and it felt like it was 80+ inside. We were literally sweating while we were eating. Also, beware on a busy weekend night. This place is very small and you could have a long wait time if diners decide to hang out for a while after eating. I'm guessing the small square footage exasperated the temperature inside as well.

Best kept secret in the city! Awesome family restaurant that we've been supporting for 15+ years. Food is the best (fajitas!) and the margaritas are top in the city. Denice does an awesome job with her son Bryce in this quaint atmosphere. Get here early on the weekends!

Food is great, but owner is a little self absorbed
