Lots of hype brought us to lunch here today. Service was great, but the food was very average for the price. I ordered the chopped Caesar which was bland other than the croutons. I also had the chopped beef burger which I asked for medium rare and showed up well done with visible over-charred marks on the meat. My companion ordered the beet salad which featured beets drenched in so much vinegar you couldn't taste the beet. Main course was a curry chicken salad sandwich which was pretty good. Great atmosphere, good wine selection, but not up to my standards for a $100 lunch.

one of la's best. save this place for a special occasion. the food is beyond excellent, the setting is elegant and the whole experience makes you feel that you just entered a wonderful place in france.

terrific space for any meal, with a great selection of wine and inventive food, prepared and served by efficient, talented, and friendly staff. the best eggs benedict you will ever find, especially with a few mimosa's or glasses of crisp rosé.

hands down the most overrated restaurant in los angeles. go for the grilled cheese night which is fun, but not particularly memorable either. it's a great space, but oye the food!

a narrow but cozy private room is a great way to experience this place. the main dining room can be quite loud and cramped. however, the great food makes up for the pretense and crowds. great combination of elegant french and quasi-american comfort food.
