I haven't been posting in ages but some of you might remember that I mostly shoot landscapes and cityscapes, so my submission had to be one of them.
This photo was shot was done at sunrise standing on a bridge on a freezing windy morning, many would think it would have been better to stay tucked under the blankets but that was a moment I really wanted to share :-)

The black and white version has a much better mood and is spectacular. Like the blur of the boats. Very artistic :)

Doge's Palace - Venice

It's been a while since I posted a photo of Venice, and many of you know how much I love that place.
This shot was done at sunrise. That place is really magical in the wee hours, one can wander in that labyrinth with nobody around enjoying peace and silence.
It's always darkest before the dawn, and that moment when the sun finally rises on the city announcing a bright sunny day is the most satisfying thing one can experience, and this doesn't only apply to photography, night never lasts forever :-)

Enjoy and have a wonderful Friday :-)

Back to the future ...
After such a long absence I thought I could post something :-)
Yet another shot from one of my favorite places, the city of science and arts in Valencia, spain.
One might think that Valencia and Venice are the only places I shot ... that wouldn't be wrong :-D

I thought that after a few Venice shots I'd take you to another favorite place of mine: The city of Arts and Sciences, Valencia - Spain
If Venice takes you a few centuries back, this place takes you to the future :-)

Charlotte is in need, please help if you can.

Is that bold enough to be seen, sis +Khrystiane Friedli? :-)

Here's an important update since I got to know that eventual donations should be sent through my primary mail address (corrected below).

Khrys also helped me find a place where those who don't have PayPal can donate in an easy way, here:

+Fabio Bucchieri has kindly volunteered to send you the selected photo (I'll send him your mail address).

I hate to write this, but I don't know what else to do.

After several years of battling with the Swedish health care system to get help to be cured from aggressive and chronic (without treatment) Lyme disease, I've finally realized that it's not going to happen. They're leaving me to die. Literally.

I've been ill for at least 20 years and gotten much worse after a bunch of new bites that I got this summer, and the latest months have been like hell, probably because I also have coinfections besides the Lyme that needs treatment too. It's not going to get any better by waiting, it clearly goes in the wrong direction, and more rapidly now. I need the right kind of antibiotics in enough large amounts, and of course tests must be made that aren't made in my country.

So my only chance to get well is through private doctors in Norway or Germany, thousands of persons from Sweden go there and finally get help, but that's not for free... It will cost at least 200 000 SEK (update: probably more, I heard from others who have paid over 250 000), which is between 30,000-37,000 USD in today's dollar rate.

You can help by making a donation through PayPal at this address (in Sweden):

If you wish to donate a sum of your choice, you will receive a thank you photo of mine in a mail (specify which photo you would like to have at the same time as making the donation: poppy, dragonfly or cow).

Another way to contribute is to go to: and buy the photos you like most as a canvas or as prints.

THANK YOU in advance!!! ♥
