I have a ton of fears.

I’m afraid every stinking day of my life. No joke.

When I hit SEND on an email, I’m afraid of what others will think.
When I hit GO on a live video, I’m afraid of sounding stupid, or worse...not relevant.
When I speak in front of an audience, I’m afraid I don’t look right...or enough.

Yet, at the end of the day, though, I’m more afraid of NOT doing the thing than I am of messing up.

Messing up is fixable.
Missing out isn’t.

Messing up is a sign of ACTION.

Messing up is a sign of COURAGE.

Messing up is sign of DESIRE. WILLINGNESS. DRIVE.

Missing out is none of those. It’s lack. Stunted.

Fear is fear. You can either feel it MOVING or feel it stuck. At least in moving, I can see progress and change.

Will you see 365 opportunities?
...or 365 regrets? 365 failures?
Look AHEAD, friend. What is TODAY whispering in your ear?
What is TODAY offering you?
What can you do TODAY that you couldn’t do yesterday, or last week, or last year?
365 opportunities to step forward...not turned to the past.
Fix your eyes on what’s unfolding before you, and be brave enough to step into it.

I learned at some point that all people, especially those who left the most lasting hurts, were put in our lives for growth.

To leave us with an insight, knowledge, a path for strength.

So rather than view those past relationships with regret, bitterness, or even guilt, ask yourself what you learned?

When I ask myself this question, it makes it difficult to hold onto hurt and resentment. It turns the focus on GAIN instead of loss.

What did you learn, friend? And thank them for that lesson, too ;)

What does the voice in your head tell you? For most of us, it has some unhappy stories. “I’m just a ….” Replace those with more positive ones for massive growth. http://heatherquisel.com/replace-negative-statements-hold-back/
