I had great service at the Tatties by Parkers Piece (I couldn't find this branch on Google maps but it is on Regent Street, opposite pizza hut). Really friendly staff and my daughter (2 1/2 year old) was very pleased with her ham and cheese panini. I ate half of it, and all the salad (as usually happens) and also really enjoyed the food - lovely fresh bread and lots of good ham in the panini and the salad was fresh.

Nice location but got an Americano instead of the drip coffee I ordered. Meh.

Very average food, avoid the sausages, tasted like offal! Coffee was ok...

Cake was dry, food is out of the freezer box, coffee is good though as is outside seating (though cold). As usual for UK eateries, the 'English" breakfast was re-heated frozen Asda stock. Potato squares, soggy veggie sausages, you get the picture. There are enough staff, but they are surly for the most part. If you can, skip this place.

Rude staff, dirty toilets, cold food. When a restaurant advertises children's meals you expect some changing facilities as they only had just one toilet in service my daughter had to stand on the toilet seat to have her nappy changed. I refused to let my daughter eat the 'burger in a bun' as it looked like the cheapest meat they could find was dry and flat so she had to eat her cold chips. Won't be visiting again.

Pleasant cafe, nice food and looks out onto a beautiful cobbled street. Notably, also serves a good all-day vegetarian English breakfast.

This is about the only cafe in the town centre that isn't consistently packed-out on the weekends. It's not bad, either, and it's vegetarian menu is great.

This place has gone seriously downhill since I was growing up. The service was terrible with the staff alternating between ignorant and rude. I got the feeling they regarded customers as a hinderance. As for the food, I went for a basic potato with beans and cheese. The potato was lukewarm and very small and the toppings looked like they'd been thrown on. Plus I was given diet instead of normal coke. It is really sad to see this once great Cambridge institution has gone downhill. I won't be going again.
