The jacket potatoes are lovely. The rest of the food is good but simple stuff. Sandwiches, chips, salads and proper fry up breakfasts. All day. The coffee is much better than most places. Service is good, but it can take a while to get used to the managers sense of humor. It gets slower at peak times when all the tables are full, but anyone who's worked in service will understand they're just doing their jobs as best they can when rammed full of customers.

Had big breakfast, food very good, proper sausages not the pink paste ones! Coffee was good too. Would go there again.

This is about the only cafe in the town centre that isn't consistently packed-out on the weekends. It's not bad, either, and it's vegetarian menu is great.

I had great service at the Tatties by Parkers Piece (I couldn't find this branch on Google maps but it is on Regent Street, opposite pizza hut). Really friendly staff and my daughter (2 1/2 year old) was very pleased with her ham and cheese panini. I ate half of it, and all the salad (as usually happens) and also really enjoyed the food - lovely fresh bread and lots of good ham in the panini and the salad was fresh.

Rude staff, dirty toilets, cold food. When a restaurant advertises children's meals you expect some changing facilities as they only had just one toilet in service my daughter had to stand on the toilet seat to have her nappy changed. I refused to let my daughter eat the 'burger in a bun' as it looked like the cheapest meat they could find was dry and flat so she had to eat her cold chips. Won't be visiting again.

Pleasant cafe, nice food and looks out onto a beautiful cobbled street. Notably, also serves a good all-day vegetarian English breakfast.

Very average food, avoid the sausages, tasted like offal! Coffee was ok...
