The University of Florida has compiled some interesting statistics. They've shown that not only is social media usage rising dramatically, but they've also demonstrated that while many businesses are profiting, many more still haven't adopted a winning strategy.
That's where you can come in.
This infograph is designed to help illustrate how valuable a social media marketer can be to a business, and how it's a viable career choice right now.
Whether you're looking for a new career or not, there are some stats here that I think you'll find very interesting, like how, "85% of all businesses with a dedicated social media platform reported an increase in their market exposure."
Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!

Moving Brand Image Forward
I just noticed there was an update for the YouTube iOS app today, and the first thing I noticed was the updated icon.
For over a year now I've been predicting that they were in the process of evolving the YouTube brand image and logo to better fit Google's new simplicity in design model. I even mentioned it when I first released my social icon set - dustn.tv/social-icon-set.
It would seem as if I was right. The old logo is on its way out. The new one is on its way in.
What do you think?
