We stopped the other day to get a bite before making dinner at home...we did not make dinner that night! The food was marvelous, and the atmosphere was very pleasing. We tried The House (pizza), a salad with dates, pecans, and a white pungent cheese (I forget the name), and The Ginger (mixed drink). Oh my goodness, it was good! The wait-staff was just friendly, and the dining area downstairs and upstairs was clean, nicely lit, and touched with a sort of "old world" flair. We will be going back.

I went because of the previous review. Great food, light and airy atmosphere, no pretension. My mojito was refreshing; light on the mint, but I like it that way. The pulled-pork sandwich arrived open-face and accompanied by a fresh and crispy Caesar salad. The environment is a marvelous mix of nouveau chic and rustic Texan. Overall, Zanata was exactly what I needed today.

We've been to Zanata several times, and it's always a wonderful experience. The pizza is the best anywhere, the service is always friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is very clean and modern--but still warm and inviting. The upstairs has an outdoor patio that is very charming, (although I wish they would update the table tops to something besides the rough-cut 3/4" plywood sheets) The place is almost always packed on the weekends, so plan to wait if you don't get there early. The crab dip is fantastic, too. I haven't had any of their other menu items...we always get the pizza. It's that good.

This place caught me off guard. It is a very clean, very cool and relaxing atmosphere. I sat upstairs at the bar and was never at a loss for service. Staff was very polite and helpful. I tried their pulled pork sandwich for lunch with truffle fries and it does not disappoint. I am most definitely coming back, next time with my girlfriend for a date. Downstairs is more of the dining atmosphere. On first impressions and I cannot stress enough that this place is perfect for almost any situation.
