Last year to commemorate our Firm’s 20th anniversary we launched a charitable fund designed to empower the economically marginalized.

In honor of the holiday season of giving, and to close the 2018 year we are expanding our network of charitable contributions to the following beneficiaries: RAICES (providing low-cost legal services to immigrant children, families and refugees), Care Ring (empowering individuals with limited resources) and Refugee Support Services of the Carolinas (helping newly-arrived refugees).

We are thrilled to support such outstanding and hard-working organizations.

Q: “Can I travel outside the U.S. during the PERM process?”

A: The PERM process does not impact your ability to travel outside the U.S. However, you must establish a separate means for obtaining a visa for reentry.

An H-1B visa allows foreign nationals to temporarily work in the U.S. in a specialty occupation. The number of visas issued each year is limited by law, and qualified applicants are selected by lottery. The H-1B lottery season is fast approaching.
