Folks line up at this NoLita mainstay for its grilled corn and other well-priced Cuban-Mexican eats.- Google
"Best cuban sandwich and grilled corns is must eat."
"I personally think the Mexican corn is overhyped and not worth the price."

Came here on a weekend and had the cuban sandwich and the fish tacos... why did the sandwich go famous for 30 years? It's mighty dry!! The fish tacos were very fishy as well... I am not sure how this place gets such great reviews... The corn was the reason for 1 star that they get and the other star is for the service or else this place would get.... none.. sorry. Perhaps next time I'll be back to try more things? I have no idea honestly... what else to try?

Such good food! I order the cuban sandwich and have them substitute the fries for rice and beans (at no extra cost). The marinated pork is always tender, juicy, flavourful and just fatty enough that it melts in your mouth. They give you a generous portion of meat - it's just ridiculous for the price (under $11). Don't hesitate and just go.

the food is extremely delicious and the portions are big. The burrito with chicken and avocado is excellent and the rice and beans are a must. The place is very busy and simple but the food is high quality

So overrated. I've been there several times and was disappointed every time. Food is meh. Service is terrible.

The corn speaks for itself. Good strong drinks, warm staff, the wait time can get a little ridiculous on weekends but it's worth it. Best shrimp taco i've ever had in New York.

i like this Mexican Joint, Yes Its mexican. not cuban. The original location is in Mexico City and i have been to that location also. The corn is good, i had better on the street but this is good for the area that is in. The corn comes with mayo, cheese and chili powder on top but it was bit dry/hard maybe not as young as it should have been. Ordered the roast pork and it came with yellow mexican rice and beans. My friend ordered the Cubano which was actually good. The place is so tiny that u cant have the food and apps on the same table. Beers were super warm and i had to ask for ice and a cup. Prices are moderate for mexican food. AC was not very good that day, it was barely comfortable + warm beers= no bueno. Maybe if the Ac worked and beers were cold and tables a bit bigger, this would have been a very good mexican restaurant The entire menu has maybe 3 cuban items. Maybe. the rest is all mexican
