Never going back. They have RATS! Have been here on 3 previous occasions. Food has always been good, service mediocre. This last time will definitely be the last. Waitress (Den a according to the receipt) was extremely rude. Short when questions were asked and just unpleasant in general. Halfway through apps we notices a HUGE RAT (house car sized) running across the ceiling tiles (they are back lit and you can see silhouettes). When we informed out waitress she smugly responded "I'm from New York so rats don't bother me." Needless to say we left immediately and will never be going back. Wish there was a negative rating.

Wait time is HORRENDOUS. Most of the clientele seems to be Asian which I don't mind since I am one myself BUT I do mind when they come by the hordes that makes the wait time for a table EVEN LONGER than usual. *** We came here for Mexican corn or rather my family did because I'm definitely not a fan of cheese. The decor is simple. Imagine several palm trees with yellowish painted walls. The space is cramped. It is like eating at the dance floor at one of those basement dance clubs. Yeah, no thanks. Every so often I would feel people brushing by me with their elbows disturbing my meal. *** The kitchen is tiny but it is open view so you can definitely inspect them for cleanliness. The entrance to this place is very unwelcoming first with drapes covering the glass window panels of the doors and then peeling back the drapes you enter a rather dim lit eating space unless you are either by the bar or windows. *** SHOULD TRY but will disappoint is the Sloppy "Jose" BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. Not a hint of BBQ sauce or enough smokiness to mask the lack of sauce for that matter. They do pack on the meat which is the only good thing about the sandwich other than the crunchy exterior of the bread which I liked. *** DO NOT TRY the Cuban Sandwich. This place will forever remind me of the worse Cuban Sandwich I've ever had in my life. How do you mess up a Cuban Sandwich? Taste was bland with one streak of sweet mustard that sort of gave it a slight taste of just mustard seeds. It was also streaked only on ONE side of the sandwich. The F? A little FYI fun "fact". They are also touted as one of the best places to get a Cuban Sandwich in the city. *** Another little FYI fun fact, save yourself the money and tastebuds, SKIP their Cuban Sandwich.

The best corn in the world is here. The food in general is absolutely great. Very small and busy restaurant with long, but well worth, waiting times to be seated. Everything on the item is tasty. Always start with the corn and make sure you leave some space after your main dish for another corn again.

Very trendy place with great food that lives up to the hype. It's a small diner set up so it's almost always crowded; be sure to get there early or go when you have time to wait. They do have a take out window but even then there's a line. The food tastes very fresh and very flavorful! The corn on the cob and Cuban sandwich are my all time recommendations for this place! You cant go wrong! They're also very dog friendly. They can give you a container of water for your 4 legged friend to gulp down outside while you eat inside. Good food and worth the price you pay.

As a big admirer of Cuban food, I was really excited to try this place for lunch. The spot itself is not huge but has decent dining and bar area seating. When we walked during lunch there was a wait of 20 mins for the table so decided to sit at the bar. I ordered the Chicken quesdilla and my friend had the veggis tacos. Both the dishes come with rice and beans. I had the red beans and yellow rice. My dish had 3 quesdilla's, though were OK but were not exceptional but quantity wise it was a good amount of food. The lunch was $10 bucks.Since so much has been said about the food at this place I would keep it short , my lunch was good but not great hence the 3 stars.

This place has the best cuban sandwiches. Everything is fresh and delicious. They have a location right around the corner where you can take it to go. The wait is a bit here but absolutely worth it.
