Pete's dueling pianos is a blast, with two guys (or girls, or maybe even more) trying to outsing each other. This place is very loud, lots of yelling, screaming and is loads of fun. Don't even bother with the food, this place is all about the drinks. Drinks are mostly typical off-the-shelf stuff, however they do serve custom concoctions at the bar. The place is usually crowded and has limited seating, but you can usually see the stage from any area. When 6th street is closed, this place is packed to the brim, no room to move about. They also charge a cover, but it's a worth-to-going experience, if you are in Austin.

I would like to say thanks, I'm a retired Navy guy that's been around the world. ( I have been to Thailand) But the service and entertainment at your Club and the friendliness of AJ at the door and the stunninll Maryland at the bar where world class. I About went broke spending money on drinks for girls for the ) and tipping Miss Maryland.. there was a bachelorette party going on and the ratio of men to women was about 10 to 1. I had a great time and I'm glad I found it it's the best bar on the strip.

I've been to many many bars around the country, and well... I have to admit that Petes has won me over. The talent tonight was completely mind boggling with how they kept the audience engaged, along with the amount of song they knew. I can honestly say this has been the best bar I have been to hands down. Piano may not be everyone's forte but you should maybe suck it up and try it. You might be surprised.

Everything about this place lead to an amazing night. We were seated quickly had drinks in our hands before we'd even settled in. There were four musicians playing and each was incredibly talented. nearly every song sang was familiar and the musicians knew how to get the crowd hyped up. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Fun bar, definitely worth a visit (or several). Was there about a month ago on 08/29/15 I think. Cover is normally $10, but if you check in on Yelp and show it to the doorman, it goes down to $3. The piano players do take requests, but they go with the money, so if your request came first and you tipped a dollar and the next person tipped twenty, they're playing the second one first. Can sometimes be tricky to find a seat, so since I've only ever gone there around 12, I'd say try to get there earlier than midnight. Great vibe and the piano players are extremely good; they'll play everything from classics like "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire to "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk. If you like live music and a great atmosphere, this place is for you!

Pete's in Austin is the first place my wife and I hit when going downtown for an evening. We always make reservations and make it there around 8pm. We sing, we drink and we talk about the club we want to hit for the night. Super fun place that is great to kicks things off on and Austin night out.

I was here with a group of friends and had a lot of fun. I've been to several other dueling piano bars and I liked that they took requests from the audience. The crowd was pretty mixed. Birthday parties, bachelorette parties, and some older folks. But it worked. They even had guest participation. I'd recommend it for a fun night out on 6th street but not among the college crowd.
