We just finished our Annual Meeting of the Quaker Bolivia Link - USA Board. We are renewed in our dedication to the Aymara people on the Altiplano and hoping to fund more projects as soon as possible. Speaking to a group of Quakers at the Downingtown (PA) Friends Meeting I was once again struck by how universal compassion is for the plight of people who struggle with the basic necessities like clean water and food security. Communities come to us to tell us what they need - we do not think we know best in this department! - and we work with them - not for them - to build a water system, construct a greenhouse, harvest a Quinoa crop, or manage a herd of healthy llamas. Won't you join us with your support?
