This looks like it will be great!  Consider a contribution for production...

I have an article in the just-released issue of Quilting Arts.  Check it out!  http://leslietuckerjenison.blogspot.com

Jamie Fingal had surgery today: an ankle replacement. She did well during the procedure and the surgeon was happy with the outcome.  I spoke to her this evening (well, now yesterday evening) and she sounded good!

I made my first-ever drawstring bag to house my Quiltcon quilt.  Interestingly, they require the quilt to be in a bag!  I'm very happy with my new skill set LOL.

I've been working on baby quilts for a new set of twin boys in our family.  Their father is an engineer and "tinkerer".  I decided to create a couple of robots.  Meet Mr. Roboto 1 and 2.  http://leslietuckerjenison.blogspot.com/

I've been in a baby quilt-making mode.  We have a bunch of new little members in our extended family, and I decided I would mess around a bit with pieced quilting.  My plan is to do some things with jellyrolls (pre-cut and my own cut with my go cutter) and she what I can get.  So far, I see to be reminded of all the ways I can mess up!  I'm enjoying myself and it seems like a mindless way to flex my fingers and get back in the studio-saddle post holidays.  What about the rest of you?

I'm also going to need to put together 3 power-point lectures.  Can I say Oy Vey?

I wish each of you a very good start to the new year!  I'm so fortunate to count myself amongst the amazing people on this list.  I hope we continue to inspire and encourage each other along the way.
Today I enjoyed a quiet bit of puttering in my studio before the family activities began:  I cut strips on my Go! cutter for several baby quilts I plan to make.  I'm looking forward to some rather "mindless" activity for the next few days, to be honest.  What about you?
