You'll also receive Roman's undying, unending, uneverything, LOVE & AFFECTION for ever and ever (You'll probably have to donate more than $1 for that though). You could even get an alien!

Once there was a king who received a gift of two magnificent falcons from Arabia. They were peregrine falcons, the most beautiful birds he had ever seen. He gave the precious birds to his head falconer to be trained.

Months passed and one day the head falconer informed the king that though one of the falcons was flying majestically, the other bird had not moved from its branch since the day it had arrived.

The king summoned healers and sorcerers from all the land to tend to the falcon, but no one could make the bird fly. He presented the task to the member of his court, but the next day, the king saw through the palace window that the bird
had still not moved from its perch. Having tried everything else, the king thought, "Maybe I need someone more familiar with the countryside to understand the nature of this problem." So he told his court, "Go and get a farmer."

In the morning, the king was thrilled to see the falcon soaring high above the palace gardens. He said to his court, "Bring me the doer of this miracle."

The court quickly located the farmer, who came and stood before the king. The king asked him, "How did you make the falcon fly?"

With his head bowed, the farmer said to the king, "It was very easy, your highness. I simply cut the branch where the bird was sitting."

Wow, what a story. It feels like a morality tale, but it's so ambiguous. I am curious what happens to the bird now? Why didn't it fly before, and can that problem be solved so easily?

Cherry blossoms. We planted a Fuji cherry tree in the front yard a couple years ago. Tall and skinny, it struggled to make it. Last year I wasn't sure it would. But last week it erupted in a parade of white double blossoms. It's going to be just fine.

Interesting article for those creators / writers out there. Where's your creativity housed in your brain?

This is great. I like how she expressed it as mental boxes being shifted around. I know for me, momentum helps with the butt to seat time. It doesn't guarantee amazing workflow, but it does make sitting down to start less of a chore.

A bit late better late than never, I suppose? ;)
I love puzzles. It's not the finished project that appeals to me, it's the act of putting it together more than the accomplishment of having done it. Seeing the shapes of the pieces and how they fit together, etc. I've always been a puzzle solver, whatever the form of the puzzle. But I will say, there are certainly some puzzles that I've done enough times that I can just look at and say, like you, "Okay, I've done that one, don't need to do it again."

Story
Introduction
I have been worked in the web design field for nearly two decades and have owned several small successful businesses, but that's not how I define myself.

I am an entrepreneur of dreams, and an explorer of thoughts. I have a voracious appetite for books, movies, and all mediums of storytelling.

I am currently writing a novel.

Based on research for my novel, I got a wild idea to see how much someone with No Clue What They're Doing can grow to eat in an city-sized lot.

And based on my garden, I recently re-awakened a passion in photography.

I have 3 1/4 cats.

I love learning new things and having interesting conversations with people who challenge my thinking. I love talking about the craft of creation.

All dreamers welcome.
